No wushu this past weekend. I'm mad right now because I think the week that the seminars are going to be is the weekend I'll be out of town. If it is, THAT SUCKS. (#*$(@)$* I've been waiting for this since like last year. FAAAAAAAAA...
Other than that annoying factor, this weekend was great. Well, Friday I didn't do much at all except do work at home and crap because there was no wushu. Saturday morning we had a taiko performance in Issaquah. It was hella hot outside. Ugh. Afterwards we got free lunch and just hung out and talked and stuff which was cool. No performances for the month of August! Finally we have a break and can work on some stuff besides performances. Danny is leaving at the end of the month! Sad... :-( Oh, Kanae is coming back from Hawaii on Friday. Me, her, and Leon and like 30 other people I don't really know or have only met like once before are going paintballing!! bwHAHHAH! It's like an all-day venture. So, if you don't hear from me after Saturday it's because I died.
Saturday afternoon Tom and I hung out. We went miniature golfing over at Interbay which was really fun. It's a really nice course. I had several shots that were almost hole in ones except they hit the pin and bounced out. But I got one hole in one!! HA!! Tom was doing well in the beginning and I was doing horrible (6 shots on a par 2) but then things started turning around and I made a come back with that one shot. He started losing it when he hit the ball into the stream and we had to chase it all the way down but it ended up in the pond any way. lol. Then I made some more mistakes and after 18 holes, he added up the scores and I was like..."well??!" He was like, "this is impossible - we're tied." So we had to go to sudden death and play another two holes. I won it by one stroke. ahhAH. That's when he lost it and started stomping around and threw the ball into the water. LOL. It was really funny. Afterwards we had bubble tea in chinatown, walked around there, and later on went to see Pirates of the Carribean. That movie is awesome. Johnny Depp was awesome in that movie. Entertaining all the way throughout with no dead spots. By far the best movie I've seen in the theaters in awhile. Sunday recorded and practiced forms and other good stuff like that. Then had dinner at Medi Kitch which was super good. They give you loads of food. We also watched Amelie at Cheryl's afterwards. Cool. This weather is too hot, and I have taiko tonight.

I changed my picture on LJ. It's bub from Bust-A-Move! Well, we don't have wushu this weekend because of Team Trials. Kind of sucks but also kind of good I guess cause it frees up a lot of time. But I did practice this week. Tomorrow we have a taiko performance in Issaquah at a public market or something like that. Yah.
I've just realized half of my summer is gone and I haven't done anything of great significance, other than hang out with people and family. I need to do something big, something exciting before the summer is over. Still trying to come up with ideas.

Innocent til proven guilty, yeah. But either way, Kobe Bryant is a sick bastard who CHEATED on his wife, despite if it was willingly or not. That's what I freaking hate about pro sports. These athletes think they're the freaking gods of this world. They should be thankful for what they have and the priveleges and luxuries that have gotten them to where they are. Instead what do they do but do drugs, kill people, hurt people and act like idiots. It's disgusting, and yet I still love watching pro sports. The ones who do display good citizenship should be applauded. Like Edgar!!! Blah, I don't know why I'm ranting about this. It just pisses me off.
So...yeah. I'm really hungry. I want middle eastern food.
Yesterday we went to Jian's place to meet him and Vivian and Emma to eat at Red Robin's because Vivian is moving to Minnesota for his CS job! Saint Paul. brrr... Any way, we've come to the conclusion that Red Robin's food sucks, but getting together was a lot of fun any way. Jae came too a little later.

My arms hurt during taiko yesterday because of sunday's wushu practice. Behhh. I got an exemption letter for jury duty from work, and I also got my room assignment for next year but I had already signed up for room 218 and they put me in 204, the bastards. So now I have to call them and ask them what the hell. I still want to see Pirates, Nemo, and J English.
Being genuinely happy for another person when they are happy is a quality every friend should have. I really respect that.

Saturday went shopping at Bellevue Square to look for jackets. Men's clothing is so much simpler and nicer than women's clothing. Argh. Women's clothing has too many choices and weird crappy stuff. Any way, it was cool. Our taiko group performed at the Seattle Bon Odori at 4:30 to open the festivities. I love it. Well, it was so freaking hot outside and we had to play on the pavement. My feet were sticking to it and I think I burned my foot cause we were out there for like 30 minutes. It was awesome cause all the girls had their hair streaked red. hhahh. It went pretty well, other than the heat. Obon was fun as usual. Me, Tom, Abby, and Teddy hung out and did the baseball dance. Oliver came too and someone how, even though he's never been there before, found the beer garden and was downing the sake. hahaa. I saw hella people I knew there as usual. Emma came to watch too with her friend. Afterwards we got bubble tea and watched Shaolin Soccer at Oliver's along with Sung-kyu and Justin. I love that movie.
Sunday, 3 1/2 hours of wushu practice and almost thought I was going to pass out after the first 2 hours from exhaustion. This weather is too hot. But it was still a good practice. We learned 2 sections of the straightsword and will learn the next two and move on to junior cudgel. Woo hoo. Yep. Then went to the Chinatown Seafair Parade with all the cousins. Charles and Lori were in it. Then we stormed Gossip afterwards and got boba.
I got a freaking jury summons of all things, so going to get the compant to write me a letter of exemption...ARGH.

IT'S FRIDAY. Thank jeebus. I'm ready to go home. Yesterday mom wanted to go see this movie called Spellbound which was a documentary about what goes on behind a spelling bee. Sounds weird, but was actually quite good and funny. This east indian girl won. Surprise surprise. hHAhaha. jk. Well then I went for a run and did some stretching and situps. Got practice today. I talked to Erin and she wants to double or even triple date. lol. And she and her co-workers thought _____ was gay! LOL!! Shoot I need to make a bank transfer so I can write a check. Uh...went to Burger King with some co-workers for lunch, now just few hours till the weekend. Mom went on a rampage about how it's important to wear sunglasses and everything the other day and insisted I get some. I told her I don't particularly like wearing them and didn't want to spend money on a pair so she bought me this 16 dollar pair at Target. Yay. They're blue and I look like I'm from the future. Oh! Robbie wants to have another after-practice Friday movie night at his place. Awesome. Last time was really fun.

It seems time is becoming more and more crucial for everyone. So many things to do, so little time. Now that we're approaching junior year, or above for some people, there isn't time to dilly dally in the summer. You're either expected to go to school or get a job/internship. Soon we'll be graduating and either moving on to grad school or getting real jobs! Scary. Still though, the times we do have to hang out are always awesome. The years are slipping by... Yesterday I was lying in bed and forgot how old I was. Then it really hit me that I'm 20. haha. OLDDDD. AGHHH.
Any way, yesterday we went to South Gate Korean Restaurant for dinner because it was mom and dad's anniversary. There was bulgohgee and I got kimchee stew. Yay. It was pretty good. I also went to practice wushu at the park yesterday and did some running. That was all I had time for. Today, I want to go practice again hopefully.

Some guy from the department came over to tell me I've been doing good work. haha. Hey we got free smoothies today from World Wrapps because our team has been productive. I got a blue mango smoothie. T came over yesterday and we had pizza and watch Karate Kid II. I love Mr. Miyagi. Currently trying to figure out what's the deal for Saturday with the performance and bon odori and everything. I'm bored and I want to take a nap.

Well, I've done it. Ha! And it turned out pretty alright too. The guy did a good job. I ended up going to the Broadway Hairmasters since I figured they did that stuff all the time. The guy that did my hair's name was Orlando and did it exactly how I told him. Now we'll all have red hair for the show! My sister got her ears pierced today.

There was a drag queen at the bus stop yesterday.
And I bought Supercop yesterday. And I love Michelle Yeoh.
Tomorrow is mom and dad's 25th anniversary. Amazing. I'm not sure what we're doing, I think we're waiting until next weekend to go out for dinner or something. I was worried about dad during the operation but he seems to be doing just fine...but anything related to your heart is scary.
I need to turn in my timesheet today. OMG, I have an appointment to streak my hair bright red today. Cause yesterday at taiko we were talking about it and Cara and Marisa alright put red streaks in their hair so we all wanted to do it for the big performance on Saturday, at least all the girls. Alaina is going to do it this week too. Any ways, assuming the lady can take the appointment I'm doing it. No turning back. I decided blue would look bad because I don't have jet black hair. Blue would look bad on brown hair...

IT'S SLIPPING AWAY AND I CAN FEEL IT. ONE MONTH IS GONE OF PRECIOUS SUMMER VACATION. AAAAAAAAAHHHH. I never want to go back.
Sorry, a bit of preliminary panicing.
Any way, work is same old same old, but this week I can a paycheck so puHahHA. Still haven't seen Pirates of the Carribean yet. And the only day I could do it is Friday. Guys, do you want to go to a late night show of Pirates on Friday?
This past Friday Jenn came to class with a wristband. HAHha. She got a funky grey one with white stripes. It's our class' thing to wear wristbands. Team spirit, I guess you could say. OMG, it was so funny cause Robbie not only has wristbands, but then he went and bought a matching Adidas headband. LOL. Any way, longfist is frustrating but luckily we started straightsword. Sifu said I should start running for my training, so I think might start doing that when I get home from work Tuesdays through Thursdays. Can't do it Monday cause of taiko and friday and sunday got wushu and saturday is my day off. Sprints and stuff, and some long distance for better endurance. I also ordered a red silk from her, since Auntie Jennifer canceled her trip to China because of SARS she couldn't get me one. But next time she goes back she said she'll get me another one too. Saturday we had a performance at Chinatown Streetfair which went well. Hella funny because these two guys came up to the front while we were playing and starting dancing these weird dances. My dad thinks they were high. Went to the Mariner's game with Steve and Oliver afterwards and played 007 Nightfire. I am like obsessed with the tactical sniper. As Tom said, there's something so pure about sniping someone. hHAHAHA.

I went to bed early yesterday. It's summer and I'm not getting enough sleep. What the hell is up with that. I did that (#*$(# and went to bed with the fan blasting in my face because it was so dang hot in my bedroom. Right now I'm bored again. I got these coupons in the mail, any 3 movies for 3 bucks from Hollywood video. So I plan to rent 3 movies. I think I'm going to pick The Karate Kid Part I & II and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Oldies but goodies. I decided I'm going to buy Amelie sometime soon. By the end of the summer I want to have purchased a number of new DVDs for my collection, right now of which is like 95% martial arts movies. Since I'm bored, here are some movies I'd like to buy:

I'm boredddd. Beeehhh. Dude, yesterday was the Mariner's pre-game show thingy and it went pretty well. We were in centerfield and got on Japanese national TV and diamond vision and stuff. Yah. Then we got free kanji hats, drinks, and tickets to the game. Ichiro hit a homerun at his first at-bat. Oh yeah, when we were waiting to go on and perform some guy from the Baltimore Orioles came over to where we were standing near the field entrance and Alaina was like OMG he's really cute. hhahA. She was going crazy. We got a photo with him and he signed a ball for Alaina. LOL. She was totally gaping at him. Dan Wilson and Joel Pineiro walked right by us. We all watched the game afterwards which was fun.
Today, came in early to work because we have to be done by 3pm. Yeah. Fehh...I want to go to Bellevue tonight and buy a Perl book.

Rehearsal at Safeco was alright. Tonight is Salute to Japanese Baseball Night and we get free Kanji baseball caps and stuff. I'm going to wear my Ichiro jersey and we're all going to scream. This summer is busy. So little time to sit around and do nothing. Not that it's bad...I like keeping busy. Any way, Abby and I are gonna go to Bon Odori on the 19th! I LOVE OBON!!! Japanese food, dance, and people galore. hHAHA. I always see EVERYONE i know there. It's so much fun. Only lame Japanese people don't go. So she's suppose to bring Teddy too so I finally get to meet him!

Dood, what a great weekend! Thursday Arpi, Maria, Shirley, Xiang, and Cheryl all came to my house and had an awesome time talking/arguing/gossiping. The huge debate of the evening was how the real story of the little mermaid went. Xiang vs. Cheryl. hHAHAHA. It was epic. We had icecream and popcorn and were suppose to watch Old School but ended up talking during the entire film. Towards the end we went out on our deck and my pissy neighbor came out and told us to shut up. It's not my fault they go to bed at 8 o'clock. Shiza. Any way, it was fun. I laughed a lot.
Friday was 4th of July. I went over to Jenna, Christopher, and Alex's house to pick up the Gamecube controllers and got to see the pics from the wedding which were really cool. Rudy took like 7 rolls of film. Oh yeah, and I uploaded the pics we took from the wedding onto a page which will be linked off my site. Tom had his BBQ bash at his house starting at 5. It was so much fun. Jenn came too, as well as Steve, Justin, and the econ possie of Emma, Jian, Jae, Jessica. We had burgers and everything and wasabi mashed potatoes which were great. Played Mario Party 4 and jumped on the trampoline and almost got bounced off. hHAHHA. Fireworks show in Kirkland was cool and then we came back and shot off a few of our own and had dessert. Awesome. I'm also putting up a link with pics from the 4th on my site.
Yesterday we helped Jian move to his new apartment and got Pochi afterwards. Also videotaped myself doing longfist and it looked hella crappy. Ugh. Any way, today we started learning the international competition form straightsword which is awesome. 3 1/2 hour practice is very tiring. I'm going to go eat icecream nowwww.
Oh and one more thing! Rehearsal at Safeco field tomorrow! Our group got asked to perform at the Mariners game on Tuesday!!! HHAHAHA. This will be the 3rd time I've played at Safeco. And we get free tickets to the game!!

We just went to Cafe Venus for lunch. I had a pita and hummus sort of sandwich thingy. Any way, tonight might be watching movies at my house. 3 day weekend hell yeah. Jenn's gonna come to the BBQ and bring tunes. I'm going to nap on the bus ride home. Gaah. I need to organize my paperwork before my mom gets mad again. I have this habit of leaving bank statements and bills and receipts in a pile.
